TCS Rider Salary in Pakistan: Pay, Requirements & How to Check a Job Offer

Short answer: TCS does not publish a public pay scale for riders. The most reliable figure we found is a TCS Pvt Ltd listing for Delivery Riders in Lahore offering PKR 35,000–50,000 a month[1]. For 2025-26, the legal minimum wage in Punjab and Sindh is Rs 40,000 a month[2][3]. Below we explain what's in an offer, your fuel costs, the requirements and how to spot a fake ad.

What TCS rider ads actually offer

Instead of guessing a "salary chart", here is what published sources say, with how far you can trust each one.

    SourceCityMonthly pay statedHow reliable
TCS Pvt Ltd "Delivery Rider" listing (10 positions, apply by 20 June 2025)[1]LahorePKR 35,000 – 50,000Good — listed under the TCS company name on an established job portal
Classified ad: "Courier Delivery Rider (TCS Company)", 1 January 2026[5]LahoreRs 45,000 – 50,000 "includes route fuel"Low — third-party ad, not verified by TCS
    Repeated on several job-news sitesKarachiRs 25,000 (17,000 + 8,000)Very low — below the 2025-26 Sindh minimum wage[3]

The two Lahore figures (Rs 35,000 to 50,000) match the legal minimum wage, so they are the most believable. Your actual offer depends on the city, the hiring contractor or TCS office, whether you use your own motorcycle, and whether fuel is paid on top of the salary or included in it.

The legal minimum wage you should check against

Riders employed full-time in a commercial business are covered by the provincial minimum wage laws[6]. These are the official 2025-26 rates:

    ProvinceMinimum wageDetails
    PunjabRs 40,000 / monthFor 26 working days, from 1 July 2025; Rs 1,538.46 per 8-hour day; Rs 192.31 per hour[2]
    SindhRs 40,000 / month (unskilled)From 1 July 2025; semi-skilled Rs 41,280, skilled Rs 48,910, highly skilled Rs 50,868[3][4]
Islamabad, KP, BalochistanCheck the latest notificationEach sets its own rate under its own law[6]

In Punjab, an employer may deduct only set amounts — and only if you both agree — for food (Rs 100 per meal), transport (Rs 1,800 a month) or accommodation (Rs 2,000 a month)[2]. Rates are revised each financial year, so check for a newer notification if you're reading this after July 2026.

Requirements for a TCS rider job

The TCS Pvt Ltd listing we reviewed asked for[1]:

    • Minimum education: Matriculation or O-Level
    • Age: 18 to 30 years
    • Experience: 1 to 2 years (entry level)
    • Gender stated in the listing: male

Rider ads also commonly ask for a valid CNIC, a motorcycle driving licence, your own motorcycle, a smartphone for the delivery app, and knowledge of local routes[5]. Requirements vary by city and by whether you are hired by TCS directly or through a contractor.

What a rider does each day

Riders usually collect assigned parcels from a TCS facility in the morning, deliver them along a set route, collect cash for COD parcels, update each delivery in the app, and return undelivered parcels and cash at the end of the shift. A good rider's habits — calling the receiver before arriving, checking ID when needed, and recording failed attempts accurately — are what customers see as tracking updates. See what each TCS tracking status means and how COD parcels are tracked.

Questions to ask before you accept

    1. Who is the employer? TCS directly, or a contractor or agency? Get the company name on your offer letter.
    2. Is fuel included or extra? "Rs 45,000 including fuel" can leave you with much less than Rs 45,000 — use the calculator above.
    3. Are there delivery targets or per-parcel incentives? Ask for the rules in writing.
    4. Who pays if a COD parcel's cash goes missing, or a parcel is damaged? Understand any deductions before you start.
    5. Will you be registered with EOBI and provincial social security? Ask the employer, and check your EOBI registration yourself after joining.
    6. What are the hours, rest days and overtime rules? Punjab's minimum wage assumes 26 working days of 8 hours[2].

How to spot a fake TCS job ad

    • You are asked to pay a registration, training, uniform or "security" fee before joining — genuine employers don't charge you to apply.
    • The ad has only a WhatsApp number, no company name and no office address.
    • The pay is far above other ads for the same city, or far below the legal minimum wage.
    • You are asked to send CNIC photos or bank details before any interview.
    • The interview is at a house or a café instead of a TCS or contractor office.

Before an interview, check the office address against the official Express Centre list for your city, or contact TCS through its official customer services page.

Why rider pay differs from city to city

There is no single "TCS rider salary". Pay usually differs because of:

    • Province: each province sets its own minimum wage, and those rates change every financial year.
    • Employer: some riders are hired by TCS directly, others by a contractor or staffing company working for TCS, with different pay and benefits.
    • Vehicle: riders who use their own motorcycle carry fuel and maintenance costs that a company bike would cover.
    • Route and targets: dense city routes and incentive schemes can change what you take home in a month.
    • Shift: morning, evening and weekend shifts may be paid differently. Ask what applies to you.

This is why we show the sources' actual figures instead of making up a pay chart by experience level. If you have a recent written TCS rider offer and are happy to share the figures without personal details, contact us and we'll consider adding it as a dated data point.

How to read your rider payslip

Ask for a payslip every month and check that it shows: your basic pay, any fuel or mobile allowance listed separately, incentives for extra parcels or targets, and every deduction with a reason. Compare your basic pay plus allowances with the minimum wage for your province. Under Punjab's notification, deductions for food, transport or accommodation are allowed only up to the fixed amounts and only by agreement[2]. If something is unclear, ask your supervisor in writing, and keep copies of your payslips and your offer letter.

    How to apply

Look for vacancies on TCS's official website and social media channels, and on established job portals where the listing shows the TCS company name. Walk-in hiring is also advertised at some TCS offices — confirm the address and date first. Take your CNIC, driving licence, educational certificate, motorcycle registration papers and passport-size photos to the interview, and keep copies of anything you sign.

    Frequently asked questions

What is the salary of a TCS rider in Pakistan?

We do not have an official TCS pay scale. The most reliable figure we found is a TCS Pvt Ltd job listing for Delivery Riders in Lahore offering PKR 35,000 to 50,000 per month (applications closed 20 June 2025). The legal minimum wage in Punjab and Sindh for 2025-26 is Rs 40,000 a month, so a full-time offer below that should be questioned.

Does TCS give riders a motorcycle or fuel?

This depends on the offer. Published ads usually ask riders to bring their own motorcycle, and one 2026 ad said its pay package "includes route fuel". Ask in writing whether fuel, maintenance and mobile costs are paid separately or already included in the salary.

What are the requirements for a TCS rider job?

The TCS listing we reviewed asked for Matric (or O-Level), age 18 to 30, and 1 to 2 years of experience. Ads also commonly ask for a valid CNIC, a motorcycle driving licence, your own motorcycle and a smartphone.

How do I apply for a TCS rider job?

Use vacancies published by TCS itself or listed on established job portals, and confirm the office address before an interview. Never pay a fee to get a courier job.

Is a Rs 25,000 TCS rider salary real?

Some websites repeat an old figure of Rs 25,000 (17,000 + 8,000) for Karachi. That is well below the Rs 40,000 minimum wage in Sindh for 2025-26, so treat it as outdated or unreliable unless an employer confirms it in a written offer.
