    How to Use This Guide

First, track your TCS shipment to see your current status. Then find your status below to understand what it means and what action to take. Each status includes a detailed explanation and recommended next steps.

    All TCS Tracking Statuses Explained

    Booked

Your shipment has been registered in the TCS system. The parcel is at the origin branch waiting for processing. This status appears immediately after booking at a TCS Express Center or via the TCS Connect portal.

Action: No action needed. Your parcel will be picked up or processed soon.

    Picked Up

A TCS rider has physically collected the parcel from the sender's location or the parcel has been received at the TCS Express Center. It will now be transported to the nearest sorting facility for processing.

Action: No action needed. Expect the next update within 12-24 hours.

    In Transit

Your shipment is actively moving between cities or sorting facilities. This is the most common status and may appear multiple times as the parcel passes through different TCS hubs along the route.

Action: Wait patiently. If stuck for 3+ days, contact TCS helpline.

    Arrived at Station

The parcel has reached the destination city's TCS branch or the local distribution center. It is being sorted and will be assigned to a delivery rider for last-mile delivery.

Action: Delivery expected within 24 hours. Ensure someone is available to receive.

    Out for Delivery

A TCS delivery rider has your package on their motorcycle/vehicle and is on the way to deliver it to the receiver's address. This is the final stage before delivery.

Action: Be available! Delivery expected within a few hours. Keep your phone on.

    Delivered

Your shipment has been successfully delivered to the receiver. The tracking record will show the receiver's name, signature confirmation, and the exact time of delivery.

Action: If you didn't receive it, check with family/neighbors, then contact TCS immediately.

    Held at Station

The shipment is being held at a TCS branch and cannot proceed to delivery. Common reasons include: incomplete or incorrect address, restricted/inaccessible area, customs clearance needed, or the receiver requested branch pickup.

Action: Contact TCS with your CN number to find out the hold reason and arrange redelivery or pickup.

    Attempted Delivery

A TCS rider went to the delivery address but was unable to complete the delivery. Reasons include: nobody home, gate locked, phone not reachable, address not found, or building security denied entry.

Action: Call TCS to schedule redelivery. Ensure you're available and your phone is reachable.

    Returned to Shipper

The shipment is being sent back to the original sender. This happens when: the receiver refuses delivery, COD amount is not accepted, multiple delivery attempts fail, or the address is permanently undeliverable.

Action: Contact the sender. They will receive the parcel back in 2-5 days.

    Undelivered

The delivery was not successful after multiple attempts (usually 2-3 attempts). The shipment will be held at the local TCS branch for a limited time (usually 7 days) for the receiver to collect, after which it will be returned to the sender.

Action: Visit the TCS branch with your CNIC to collect, or contact TCS to arrange final delivery.

Common Questions About TCS Tracking Status

Why is my shipment stuck on "In Transit" for days?

"In Transit" can show for 1-2 days for intercity shipments as the parcel moves between sorting hubs. This is completely normal. However, if the status stays unchanged for more than 3 days, it could indicate:

    • Sorting delay during peak season (Eid, Black Friday)
    • Weather-related delays (monsoon floods, heavy snowfall)
    • Vehicle breakdown or logistical issue
    • Route disruption due to protests or road closures

Contact TCS customer care at 021-111-123-456 with your tracking number if the parcel is stuck for 3+ days.

What does "Held at Station" mean and what should I do?

This means your parcel is at the local TCS branch but cannot be delivered. Common reasons include:

    • Incomplete address: Missing house/apartment number or wrong area mentioned
    • Restricted area: Military zones, gated communities without gate pass, etc.
    • Receiver requested pickup: Some receivers prefer to collect from the branch
    • Customs clearance: For international shipments needing documentation
    • Business closed: If delivery address is a shop that was closed during delivery attempt

Call TCS to find out the specific reason and either provide a corrected address, arrange redelivery, or visit the branch with your CNIC to collect.

My shipment says "Delivered" but I didn't receive it

This is a serious issue that requires immediate action:

    1. Check with family: Ask all household members, neighbors, and building security if they received it
    2. Check the delivery proof: Call TCS and ask for the signed proof of delivery — it should show who signed and when
    3. File a complaint immediately: If you confirm the parcel was not received, file a complaint within 24 hours
    4. Contact the sender: Inform the sender about the situation as they may need to file an insurance claim

How often does TCS update tracking status?

TCS tracking updates are generated at each scan point in the delivery journey:

    • Booking scan: Immediately when booked at Express Center
    • Sorting facility scans: When parcel enters and exits each sorting hub
    • City arrival scan: When parcel arrives at destination city
    • Out for delivery scan: When assigned to delivery rider
    • Delivery scan: When successfully delivered with signature

Updates typically appear within 15-30 minutes of each scan event. During peak periods, there may be slight delays in the system updating.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I track my TCS shipment on Sunday?

Yes, online tracking works 24/7 including Sundays and holidays. Visit tcstrack.pk and enter your CN number anytime.

Why does my tracking show no results?

New shipments take 2-4 hours to appear in the system. If it's been longer, verify the tracking number is correct (12 digits, no letters).

What does 'Attempted Delivery' mean on TCS?

It means the rider went to deliver but couldn't — usually because no one was home or the phone was unreachable. TCS will attempt again the next day.

How many delivery attempts does TCS make?

TCS typically makes 2-3 delivery attempts. After that, the parcel is held at the branch for 7 days before being returned to the sender.

Can I change the delivery address after shipment?

Contact TCS helpline with your CN number. Address changes are possible before the parcel is 'Out for Delivery' but not guaranteed.

What if tracking shows 'Returned to Shipper'?

Contact the sender — the parcel is being sent back to them. Common reasons are failed delivery attempts or receiver refusal.
