Step 1: Track Your TCS Shipment First
Before panicking, the first thing you should do is track your TCS shipment on tcstrack.pk. Enter your TCS consignment number (CN number) to see the latest recorded status. This will tell you exactly where your parcel is in the TCS delivery network.
Common tracking statuses and what they mean for your delivery:
Booked / Picked Up
Parcel just entered the system — give it 24-48 hours
In Transit
Moving through TCS network — normal for 1-3 days
Arrived at Station
At destination city TCS center — delivery within 24 hours
Out for Delivery
TCS rider is on the way to your address right now
Delivery Attempted
Rider visited but couldn't deliver (you were away)
Held at Station
Parcel on hold due to address issue, payment, or customs
Step 2: Check Common Reasons for Non-Delivery
Incorrect or incomplete address
Verify your address with the sender. TCS needs complete address including house/flat number, street, area, and city.
Phone number not reachable
TCS riders call before delivery. If your phone was off or unreachable, they may mark it as delivery attempted. Ensure your number is active.
Peak season or weather delays
During Eid, monsoon season, or political events, deliveries may be delayed by 1-3 extra days. Track regularly for updates.
Parcel held at customs (international)
International shipments may be held for customs inspection. Contact TCS with your CN number for customs status.
Restricted or prohibited items
If your parcel contains restricted items, TCS may hold it. Contact customer support for clarification.
Step 3: Contact TCS Customer Support
If your tracking shows no progress for 48+ hours or the expected delivery date has passed, it's time to contact TCS customer support:
Call: 021-111-123-456
TCS Helpline — Mon-Sat, 9AM-6PM
When calling, have ready: your consignment number, booking date, sender/receiver details, and a description of the issue.
Step 4: File a Formal Complaint
If the initial call doesn't resolve your issue, file a formal TCS complaint. This creates a documented case that can be escalated. Here's how:
Call 021-111-123-456 and ask specifically for the complaints department
Provide your CN number, booking receipt details, and issue description
Request a complaint reference number (write it down!)
Ask for the expected resolution timeline (usually 3-5 business days)
If not resolved, ask for escalation to a supervisor
For valuable items, mention you'll file with PTA Consumer Protection if unresolved
What If TCS Shows 'Delivered' But I Didn't Receive?
This is a serious issue. If your TCS tracking shows delivered but you didn't receive the parcel:
Check with family members, neighbors, or building security/guard
Verify the delivery address and receiver name in tracking
Note the delivery date, time, and 'signed by' name from tracking
Call TCS helpline immediately and report the discrepancy
Request proof of delivery (GPS location, photo, or signature)
If confirmed undelivered, TCS will investigate and compensate based on declared value
